Our History
Marciano Morales opened Caprock Home Health in 1983 with three employees. Today, the Lubbock, Texas-based home health-care and medical equipment supplier employs about 2000 employees and offers services locally as well as in Amarillo, El Paso, Abilene, Richardson, McAllen and San Antonio, Texas. The Lubbock Hispanic Chamber of Commerce named the firm Company of the Year in 1993. That same decade, it received honors from the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It also has received Lubbock's Roy Bass award, for diversity and equal opportunity in employment. In 1997 the Morales family contributed $1 million to Texas Tech Health Science Center to finance an endowed chair.
