Caprock Foundation
Caprock Foundation was formed by Marciano and
Martha Morales, owners of Caprock
Home Health Services, Inc., as a vehicle to give back to the communities that
have supported their business over the years. The purpose of the foundation is
to fund community initiatives that promote education, health, wellness, and
improvement in quality of life for the community. The foundation is charitable,
but designed to help people help themselves. The foremost initiative the
Foundation currently supports is the “Celebracion de Exito” scholarship fund.
The fund targets young people who show initiative and courage in their academic
careers, but may not be able to afford higher education without assistance. The
students are selected by counselors at their high school. Counselors are not
directed whom to choose, but are encouraged to promote students who may not be
top candidates for a sports or academic scholarship, but who have worked hard in
high school, done well in spite of obstacles, and show promise, drive, and
tenacity.
